Week of Sabbat 2025

The new Sabbat expansion marks a special moment: all of Italy unites to celebrate the game we love. Four decks, four paths, endless stories coming to life at club and game store tables in every city.

Not just competition, but a week of gathering, discovery and shared fun, in true Cainite spirit.

What is it

The Week of Sabbat is the national event dedicated to the launch of the new Sabbat decks. From October 18 to 26, players across Italy compete in Sealed format, opening and playing prerelease decks simultaneously.

An opportunity to try new cards, meet other Cainites, and participate in a shared national ranking in a fun atmosphere.

How it works

• Each participant receives a sealed Sabbat deck (no sleeves included) provided by the organisation
• The deck is sleeved and played as-is, no modifications
• Each round is played at four-player tables, with a different deck for each Path: Caine, Cathari, Death and the Soul, Power and the Inner Voice
• Deck and seating assignments are always randomised, to ensure variety and fairness

Scores and standings

During the Week of Sabbat, players earn points through Victory Points (VP) and Game Wins (GW).

Results feed into two levels of standings:

• City standings, collecting local player scores
• National standings by Path, comparing results of all Italian players for each Sabbat deck

After three rounds, total points determine the local winner. There is no final: what matters is the experience, the game, and the shared fun across the nation.

Deck and keepsake

At the end of the event, each participant takes home their Sabbat prerelease deck as a memento of the Week of Sabbat.

Treat the cards with care: they are part of the official event kit and deserve respect… in true Sabbat style.
